About Me

Nice to meet you
I’m Jessica Wayne

I am so glad you stopped by. For just under a decade, I’ve been a professional photographer working in the Menomonie area. I love shooting in all of the 4 seasons that Wisconsin has to offer.

My love for photography started as a kid. My Grandpa had a polaroid camera that I loved. I was amazed that you could click a button, and within a minute or two, you had a replication of the image you just saw through the little eye hole. It was like the first digital image. When I got a little older, I bought the two-pack disposable cameras and used those up rather quickly, mostly taking “selfies” but not knowing how terrible they would turn out until I had the film developed.

this is my family

I am a mom to 3 boys, and as they grow, I am continually reminded of how important documenting their growth is, as well as freezing memories. My husband is a farmer and our boys are always eager to help with all the farm work. Both my hubby and I have a strong work ethic, and it’s reflected in everything that we do. I take pride in my “work” and the art that I create.

this is my real family

In my work, as well as real life, I like to keep things candid and true. I feel like these make the most timeless pictures that you can look back on and really enjoy and feel the moment.

I capture anything from family to senior sessions, but my true passion is newborn photography.

I work as a Registered Nurse and I have worked in labor & delivery in the Birthing Center. I am very comfortable working with babies and children. Safety is my top priority when working with anyone, especially newborns.

My Style

When I edit, my main goal is to keep your images looking natural but vibrant. I try to capture it right in camera as much as possible, so my editing tends to be minimal. I am a natural light photographer and love to photograph during the gorgeous Wisconsin golden hour.
