Keep it simple, I usually recommend keeping colors to a 3-4 color scheme. Nothing too busy, but feel free to wear layers, textures, and accessorize with jewelry, scarves, etc! I would try to steer clear of clothes with big decals, or logos on them.

Maternity sessions are best booked between 28-34 weeks

Newborn sessions are best booked between 3-14 days new, but newborn sessions can be booked when baby is a little older. The earlier the better with newborns.

Child sessions/sibling/family can be booked at anytime

Senior sessions are typically booked during the student’s junior year of high school or the summer before their senior year starts.

Please book in advance to secure the best session dates/times. For newborn sessions, you will want to reserve your due date at the end of your second trimester to guarantee a newborn session. Pre-booking also allows for you to prepare for your session

Yes! My studio is in Menomonie, just south of town. It is a rustic, 100+ year old granary barn that we converted into a studio. It has a lot of gorgeous natural wood in it. It is located on our family farm, so bring your mud boots to check out the farm animals after your session with me!

I am a mom of three boys so I definitely understand that sickness can happen. If you are able, I ask for a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel your session, but we will definitely get you in at the next available opening. I do require a $25 non-refundable booking fee to hold your spot. If you need to reschedule, you will need to pay another booking fee.

All sessions (with the exception of newborn sessions and senior sessions) are about 45 minutes long. From my experience, kids are usually done just shy of an hour and I have gotten more than I need in that amount of time. Newborn sessions are 2-3 hours long. Each baby is different and I make sure to leave lots of time for feeding and snuggling! Senior sessions are 1.5 hours in length.

You can expect to see a sneak peek (with your permission) on facebook and Instagram! This usually happens within a few days of your session. Once I have edited your images, I will send you an email with a link to all of the edited images. You are able to then download them at your convenience. You can develop your photos wherever you would like or you can order your photos off of my site via the email link.

Your booking fee of $100 reserves your session time on my calendar. This is non-refundable. You will then need to pay for the session upfront prior to your session, but it can be paid on your session date.
